I've been playing some old games lately, with Doom 3 being my favorite at the moment. If you've never played this game, you might think "Zombies aren't that scary." Well, give them guns, monster friends, dark rooms, and the ability to jump out at you (from nowhere!), and you're going to be scared. The atmosphere is creepier than any game I've played, including some levels of Half-Life 2 (HL2 is a pussy game compared to this, but I still love HL2). I will probably never beat this game, as I cannot play too much in one sitting. Get the duct tape mod (google it)!

Pros: Really fun to kill zombies.
Creepy atmosphere (lighting, sounds, visuals) that will keep you scared until you shut off the game (or your computer!).
Cons: You have to hold a flashlight most of the time as the game is really dark, but if zombies come you have to switch to a weapon. This gets really annoying, especially if its dark and you have to kill zombies at the same time.
Not for the faint of heart.
